AAC Traveling Salon/ June, July, August and September 2010

The fall meeting of the Traveling Salon will be held from Sunday, September 26th, 2010 through Thursday, September 30, 2010 to paint nature, farms and historical sites around the Monteagle area. Over the years, our group has come to know many local people who have graciously invited us to paint on their properties. They have also introduced us to many interesting local attractions. Attending the Traveling Salon is a terrific opportunity for AAC member artists to join with other artists for a really good time. Even if the weather is bad or you don’t like to paint outside, there is plenty of space to paint inside. You can also have your own motel style room and you don’t have to cook.

The Dubose Conference Center is located 166 miles from Atlanta, 50 miles Northwest of Chattanooga, TN, just off Exit 134 on I-24.

Costs:
Single occupancy is $52 per person/day
Double occupancy is $36 per person/day
Meal plan is $34/day
Individual meal rates:
Breakfast $8, Lunch $10, Dinner $16
Beverages are included in all meals. Taxes and gratuities are not included. Gratuities
are generally $3.50/day and there is a $5 contribution to the AAC.
